1. Information We Collect

  • Personal Details: Name, email address, phone number, WhatsApp number, city/state, and address.

  • Academic Information: Current grade, school, marks, stream, and career interests.

  • Assessment & Chat Data: Responses to psychometric tests, counselling forms, and messages you send us on WhatsApp, website chat, or email.

  • WhatsApp Data: When you message us on WhatsApp or opt-in, we collect your WhatsApp phone number, WhatsApp profile name, and message content. This is necessary to reply to you.

  • Payment Information: Transaction ID, amount, and method. Card/UPI details are processed by our secure payment gateway partners and are NOT stored by us.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To deliver mentorship programs, psychometric reports, and university pathway guidance.

  • To communicate via Email and WhatsApp Business API (provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.) about schedules, reports, application updates, and support. We only message you on WhatsApp if you opt-in or message us first.

  • To provide automated support via our AI Assistant on WhatsApp. Your messages may be processed by our AI provider to generate relevant educational guidance.

  • To improve our Academic Parenting methodology.

  • To process university applications only with your explicit consent.

3. WhatsApp Opt-In and Opt-Out

  • Opt-In: You opt-in by messaging us on WhatsApp, filling a form on vipcampuslink.com, or scanning our QR code.

  • Opt-Out: You can opt-out at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, or BLOCK on WhatsApp. We will stop promotional messages within 24 hours. Transactional/service messages related to your active program may still be sent.

  • You can also email us to opt-out.

4. AI Chatbot Disclosure
Our WhatsApp number uses an AI-powered assistant to provide instant guidance. The AI may generate automated responses based on your query. This is for informational and mentorship guidance only. You can request a human counsellor anytime by typing HUMAN, AGENT, or SUPPORT.

5. Children's Privacy
Many of our users are students under 18. For users under 18, we collect and process data only with parental or guardian consent. Psychometric and counselling reports of minors are shared only with the student and their parents/guardians.

6. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Meta Platforms, Inc. (WhatsApp): To deliver WhatsApp messages.

  • Payment Gateways: To process payments.

  • AI & Automation Providers: [e.g., OpenAI / n8n cloud infrastructure] to run our AI assistant, under strict confidentiality.

  • Universities/Institutions: Only when you request us to apply on your behalf.

  • Legal Compliance: If required by law in India.

7. Data Retention and Security
We retain your academic and chat records for up to 24 months after your last active program to provide support, unless you request deletion earlier. We use industry-standard security measures. Psychometric reports are kept confidential.

8. Your Rights
You can request to access, correct, or delete your personal data by emailing us. We will respond within 30 days.
